Under Madhu Koneru's strategic guidance, MEC has established a unique framework of companies to bring to fruition its vision for Indonesia, and subsequently other countries in the region such as China and India. MEC includes MEC Coal, MEC Infrastructure, MEC Agriculture, MEC Estate and the MEC Foundation.

As the Executive Vice Chairman of MEC Holdings, Madhu Koneru leads pioneering investments in the future of Indonesia. With the country's abundant resources and strategic location it will play a key role in supplying the world's energy needs whilst at the same time providing sustainable growth opportunities for its people.

Prior to establishing MEC, Madhu Koneru played an integral role in the growth of the Trimex Group. His intrinsic involvement in the company's core business activities has seen RAK Minerals and Metals Investments (RMMI), a Trimex joint venture, evolve into a trans-global $2 billion conglomerate, expanding into Africa, Europe, India and the Middle East. As Trimex's General Manager, his business acumen and assertive leadership were instrumental in developing the strategic partnerships and cogent blueprint that ultimately led to MEC's launch.

Madhu Koneru is a member of the Board of Directors in Trimex Group, RMMI, Padaeng Industries PLC, a zinc mining and Smelter Company that owns the only zinc smelter plant in Southeast Asia and Al Ghanem Industrial Company Kuwait
